PAINTING WITH LIGHT

Painting With Light

A) Technique - From what I've seen people tend to use a dark background and they use the light to contrast the object that was out lined. By moving the light source, the light can be used to selectively illuminate parts of the subject or to paint a picture by shining it directly into the camera lens.

B) Definition - Light painting is a photographic technique in which exposures are made by moving a hand-held light source or by moving the camera.

C) Tools Equipment and Props -  Flash lights, Glow sticks, camera, props to outline

D) Ideas - Well, my mum gave me the idea that maybe I could do a stop motion movie, with light sabers or something like that. So making an action movie but other than that I got nothin.

PART TWO

From what I learned with painting with light its harder to make even the simplest image or drawing. However with just a simple light blob called schmutz can be just as good as anything. Also I would recommend that you have a slide background with as little visible light as possible, this way this object that your drawing stands out even more. Below are just a few examples of what I use with light. Enjoy!!
